  6. PUBLIC NOTICE Route 12 Proposed Modification Public Hearing

    October 23, 2019, 3:30 PM - 5:00 PM @ Board of Supervisor Chambers, Kings County Government Center, 1400 Lacey Boulevard, Hanford, CA 93230

    NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Kings County Area Public Transit Agency (KCAPTA) will hold a public hearing to seek comments from the public regarding the proposed transit service change that will impact the Cities of Avenal, Stratford, and Kettleman City. The transit system operated as Kings Area Rural Transit (KART) proposes ONE of the following service change: Option A: No changes to Route 12 schedule. Option B: Leave schedule as is, BUT add a 1:35 PM run. Option C: Change the 11:00 AM run to leave at 11:35 AM. Option D: Leave the schedule as is, BUT add a stop at Walmart on the 11 AM run and the 4:35 PM run, eliminate the stops in Kettleman City at 12:50 PM and eliminate stops in Stratford at 1:15 PM.
