Note:This is not a City of Avenal position. This is a part-time, temporary position (hourly, non-exempt) employed by and reporting to the Fresno State Office of Community and Economic Development. This position will work closely with City of Avenal staff but will not be an employee of the City of Avenal.

Background:

The Fresno State Office of Community and Economic Development (OCED) , in partnership with the City of Avenal, is seeking an outgoing, bilingual, organized and proactive individual who can create and maintain relationships with farmers and other vendors who will participate in Avenal’s Farmers Market (Avenal Park Market). This person will work in conjunction with City of Avenal Staff, Fresno State’s Office of Community and Economic Development, Kings Community Action Organization and others to make the Farmers Market a successful and sustainable resource for the Avenal community.
