How can we make it safer and easier to walk and bike in Kings County? To find out, the Kings County Association of Governments (KCAG) will be developing the “Kings County Walk and Bike Plan” over the next 12 months, beginning in June 2017.

The plan will first analyze existing issues and conditions related to walking and biking. It will then identify the most important projects for walking and biking for each of the county's four cities—Avenal, Corcoran, Hanford and Lemoore—as well as for the rest of the county.

Beginning in early September 2017, there will be several opportunities for the public to give input and feedback on the plan. Residents will have a chance to voice their needs and concerns around walking and biking, and to suggest ideas for improvements.

¿Cómo podemos hacer que sea más seguro y más fácil andar a pie y en bicicleta por Avenal? Para averiguarlo, la Asociación de Gobiernos del Condado de Kings (su sigla en ingles es KCAG) desarrollará el “Plan de peatonismo y de ciclismo para el condado de Kings” durante los próximos 12 meses, a partir de junio de 2017.
